It's the end of January and my kids are ready for it to be summer time. I can't lie, I wish it was coming soon too! They are ready to be in the fresh WARM air. Out running the streets til the street lights come on. Well, Mikey has a little bit of a problem remembering when they come on...DUSK!!!! He likes to pretend he was busy playing that he totally forgot. I remember being gone for hours in the field that was next to our house. We lived in Missouri at the time so it was mostly rural. You had to cross a huge wheat field, I think it was, before you got to the actual woods. We would be gone for what seemed like days before we saw sunlight. And everytime we would magically find our way back home. There were no trails to follow, just our laughter and fun! Oh the days!!!! Here's counting the days til summer!
